The Dallas Cowboys recently made a big move this Tuesday by acquiring linebacker Logan Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals. But an insider has suggested they aren’t done making moves yet and might still be working the phones to further strengthen their defense.
Jay Glazer Reveals Cowboys Are Still Working the Phones
Jerry Jones, the owner of the Cowboys, made a trade for Wilson, who had requested a move due to his reduced playing time with the Bengals. Dallas acquired him in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick. But the team’s defense still needs more support, and Jones might be looking to make bigger moves.
Fox Sports insider Jay Glazer recently shared that the team is still on the lookout for players to improve their defense. Replying to a tweet about teams being aggressive at the trade deadline, Glazer wrote:
“Dallas still working phones for even more help on defense too despite the one trade”

Apart from the Dallas Cowboys, the Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, and Philadelphia Eagles have also been reported as aggressive at the trade deadline.
The reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are looking to make their team stronger by making bold trades to boost their chances of winning another title. General Manager Howie Roseman has been expanding the talented roster by acquiring players like edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and cornerbacks Michael Carter II and Jaire Alexander.
Meanwhile, Glazer’s tweet has raised curiosity among Cowboys fans about what big moves they might see before the 4 p.m. ET trade deadline on Tuesday.
Troy Aikman Mocks the Logan Wilson Deal
Acquiring the linebacker has made quite some noise, but many are mocking this deal and the team for various reasons. Recently, football legend Troy Aikman, who led the Cowboys to three Super Bowls, mocked Jones for making the trade.
The Hall of Fame quarterback, after watching the team lose to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night, said he doesn’t think the deal will make a big difference for the team.

“He may want to cancel that trade. I don’t think one player from what I’ve seen tonight is going to make a difference for this group,” Aikman said.
Despite the football legend’s disbelief after watching the Monday night game, fans remain hopeful that Jones will continue improving the roster, especially the defensive unit. Adding Wilson was a big move, and speculation suggests even bigger ones could be coming soon.
