Amid the hype surrounding other positions, the 2025 NFL Draft hasn’t highlighted many wide receivers at the top — besides the dual-threat and Heisman Trophy winner, Travis Hunter.
However, through his play with the Arizona Wildcats, Tetairoa McMillan is a receiver who has stood out as a game-changer on offense. With a date at Lambeau Field on the horizon, as many as eight teams have shown interest in this dynamic wide receiver.

Insider Reveals 8 Teams Tetairoa McMillan Visited Ahead of 2025 NFL Draft
McMillan is an imposing 6’5″ receiver whose size is complemented by incredible hand-eye coordination in tough, contested catches. Even in traffic, the 22-year-old’s ability to snag the football and take off makes him a potent offensive weapon.
With impressive fluidity, the Wildcats alum could make a big impact on the team that drafts him. As per Jordan Schultz, the teams McMillan has visited and are interested in him are the Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers, and New Orleans Saints.
Schultz also reported that McMillan has three more visits scheduled with the teams. One executive from a 2024 playoff team told him, “He’s [McMillan] got true star-level tools and elite production. Our entire building loves him. There’s just no way he makes it to us.”
There is a general feeling that McMillan will be a first-round and potentially a top-10 pick. In PFSN’s latest seven-round mock draft by Jacob Infante, McMillan is projected to be the first receiver off the board, going 18th overall to the Seattle Seahawks.
Infante wrote, “After trading Smith and DK Metcalf, the Seattle Seahawks brought in Sam Darnold as their quarterback. They’re still in need of another target opposite Jaxon Smith-Njigba, however.”
“Tetairoa McMillan is a big receiver with strong hands and ball skills. He’s fluid for his size and creates separation with his physical traits.”
McMillan was one of the highest-ranked players in his recruiting class and finished as a high four-star recruit. He had offers from nearly every big program in the country but ultimately chose Arizona partly because his high school quarterback, Noah Fifita, was also attending the school.
McMillan leaves Arizona after back-to-back dominant seasons. In his final year, he recorded 84 catches for 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns. That followed a sophomore campaign with 90 catches, 1,402 yards, and 10 touchdowns — some of the most productive numbers in college football over that stretch.
He waited until his pro day to run the 40 and posted a 4.53. While speed has never been the biggest strength in his game, McMillan isn’t slow by any means, and it would be a surprise if he slips out of the top 20 on Day 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft.
