Bill Belichick is still the gold standard for many when it comes to NFL head coaches. He parted ways with the New England Patriots earlier this year after serving for 23 years.
However, the 72-year-old is still in demand to lead the franchises. NFL insider Diana Russini highlights three teams that are eager to bring Belichick back on the sidelines.
Bill Belichick Could Be Back to Head Coaching in 2025
Several reports indicated that the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach tried to audition for the job at the Atlanta Falcons. However, he did not succeed in his quest. Since then, he has taken a deep dive into the NFL mediaworld.
However, NFL insider Russini reported that three franchises want the three-time Coach of the Year to become a head coach once again. The Jacksonville Jaguars, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Dallas Cowboys all want Belichick in their fold.

As per Russini, the Bucs and the Jaguars are willing to give complete control of the coaching staff and the front office to Belichick.
This has been an issue for several teams in the recruitment of Belichick. She further states that the Jaguars will be pursuing Belichick aggressively for their top job.
Former Coach Suggests Belichick Is Bitten by the Media Bug
For several years Belichick had garnered a reputation of not being friendly with the NFL media. Hence it came as a shock to many that he had taken several media jobs within the NFL world after ending his stint with the Patriots.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher appeared on the “Sports Media with Richard Deitsch” podcast. He stated that he is confident that Belichick will return to the role of an NFL head coach. However, his podcasts and media jobs will not make the decision easy.
“I also think he’s getting more and more comfortable as a broadcaster,” Cowher said. “I think Bill’s got the bug. But he’s getting better and better as a broadcaster and he’s getting plenty of practice. He’s on every different platform! Practice is not a problem with Bill.”
