NFL Inactives Week 5: Latest Injury Updates for Lamar Jackson, Brock Bowers and Others

Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season kicked off with an NFC West showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams. Despite being without Brock Purdy, George Kittle, Ricky Pearsall, Jauan Jennings, and Brandon Aiyuk, the 49ers pulled off a surprising 26-23 overtime win.

Sunday’s slate begins with an early game in London between the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings. Rookie Dillon Gabriel is set to make his first NFL start, but several key players will miss the week’s action and have been listed as inactive.

    NFL Inactives for Week 5

Las Vegas Raiders at Indianapolis Colts

Brock Bowers has been dealing with a knee injury and was initially expected to play this week. However, plans changed on Saturday, as NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Las Vegas Raiders’ second-year tight end is now unlikely to suit up against the Indianapolis Colts. Now, he’s officially inactive.

Heading into Week 5, Bowers is ranked as the third-best player at his position in the league based on PFSN’s Tight End Impact metric.
