‘He Needs To Be Sent to Prison’ – NFL Fans Rip Brian Daboll for Failed Flea-Flicker Attempt as Giants Struggle in Germany

    Published on

NFL fans were left unimpressed as New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll attempted a flea flicker on a crucial third-down play.

The New York Giants’ rough season took a bizarre turn during their Week 10 faceoff in Munich, Germany, as a failed flea-flicker attempt left fans questioning head coach Brian Daboll’s play-calling.

With both the Giants (2-7) and Carolina Panthers (2-7) vying for a high 2025 NFL Draft pick, a head-scratching call on third-and-short had New York supporters venting their frustration across social media.

Brian Daboll Has Brain-Fade Moment in Germany

On a crucial 3rd-and-1 play, the Giants head coach dialed up an unexpected flea flicker. Rather than catching Carolina’s defense off-guard, the trick play ended in disaster as Daniel Jones took a brutal sack from D.J. Wonnum, moving the Giants out of fourth-down contention and forcing a punt.

This head-scratching moment has fueled fans’ ire, with one Twitter user quipping, “Brian daboll needs to be sent to prison for running a flea flicker on 3rd and 1…”

Another added, “How tf does Brian Daboll still have a job?”

“Flea flicker on 3rd and 1 when your running back is having a great drive. Only dumb*** Brian Daboll,” said another.

One X user tweeted: “if Brian Daboll called that flea flicker on 3rd & 1…………….fire him”

“Brian Daboll should probably yell at himself for calling a 3rd and 1 flea flicker,” wrote one more.

One fan commented: “3rd and 1 at midfield , Brian Daboll calls a flea flicker… his plane ticket should be cancelled, leave him in Germany.”

“Can we fire this whole giant staff and start over horrible coach Brian daboll flea flicker on third and one and he got sacked they don’t have the offensive line to do that s***,” quipped one more.

As the Giants stumbled, the Panthers struck first, with Bryce Young connecting with Ja’Tavion Sanders on a 3rd-and-goal touchdown.

Young, who’s been in and out of the lineup this season due to shaky performances, is back under center following an injury to veteran Andy Dalton.

Meanwhile, Jones and the Giants continue to struggle offensively. The offense showed few signs of life from rookie receiver Malik Nabers, who joins an exclusive club with 50 receptions in his first seven games — a feat previously only accomplished by Puka Nacua.

With the Panthers up 10-0 at halftime and the Giants mired in offensive woes, Daboll’s choice to risk a flea flicker on a crucial down has been the talking point in Germany so far.
