‘Brady Better Come Back With Him’ – NFL Fans React to Rumors of Legendary TE Rob Gronkowski Eyeing Return With Denver Broncos

Rob Gronkowski, a four-time Super Bowl champion and one of the best tight ends, recently caused the rumor mill to churn about a possible return to the NFL. The talk started when reports said Gronkowski had been training in Vail, Colorado, which led to people thinking he might be getting ready for a comeback.

Fans React to Rumors of Rob Gronkowski Returning to the NFL

The Denver Broncos were the name that cropped up alongside his. However, not even a day later, Gronkowski made it known that the speculation was only fiction. He told NFL insider Jordan Schultz that he wasn’t planning a comeback.

“Crazy bro,” Gronkowski said. “They must know something about me that I don’t. I wish I still had those powers, because that would be cool if I did. But I was just in Australia for a few days. Now it’s time to relax a little. No football.”

Well, that was that. However, while the speculation spread like ivy before his confirmation, people on X were having fun with the idea of him returning.

Gronkowski and former quarterback Tom Brady were a legendary duo. They teamed up for 93 touchdowns, the most Brady threw to any receiver.

“Brady better come back with him,” a fan said.

This past season, the duo of Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce passed Brady and Gronkowski for the most playoff touchdowns ever by a quarterback and receiver pairing.

In light of this a fan wrote, “Dude wants to stat pad now that Kelce is better than him.”

“I don’t believe it. He is smart with his money and never wanted to play for any QB other than Brady,” another fan predicted.

    The comments kept pouring in.

“Guess I gotta say it: Gronkos country let’s ride,” a fan commented.

“He’d be a great mentor for the TE we take in the 1st round,” a fan said, referring to the 2025 NFL Draft.

“Gronk in 2025. This script about to go crazy,” another fan chimed in.

Regardless of fan excitement, it’s clear Gronkowski is happy with his retirement and has no plans to rejoin the league.
