But thanks to several top-performing albums and the incredibly popular “The Eras Tour,” she is the 15th celebrity to become a billionaire and one of just five musicians to achieve that status, joining Rihanna, Jay Z, Jimmy Buffett, and Bruce Springsteen, according to Bloomberg.
Not only is “The Eras Tour” bringing in a ton of money in terms of ticket sales and merchandise, but it also produced an extremely successful film.
In a press release, AMC Theaters said that “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” brought in over $261.6 million globally, breaking the record for a concert film previously held by “Michael Jackson’s This Is It.” The documentary also earned a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.
