Fans Have a Field Day as Puka Nacua Learns the Rams Are in the NFC West

Four divisions in each conference with only eight options at his disposal, the WR was confused about which one was his. ESPN’s NFL reporter took to X (formerly Twitter) to report on this gaffe by the Rams man.

“From LA, [Lindsey Thiry] reported that WR Puka Nacua only recently learned that the Rams played in the NFC West,” he tweeted.

The fans immediately began poking fun at the 23-year-old. “Really, Puka?” replied one fan.

    “Puka Nocluea,” one fan added.

“That brother probably had a 0.3 GPA lmfao,” tweeted a fan.

“Puka can’t be real,” one fan replied.

    “BYU education,” another fan tweeted.

Sean McVay Reacts to Nacua’s Error

Rams head coach Sean McVay was made aware of this fact at the press conference before the game against the Philadelphia Eagles. At first, he was convinced that Nacua was joking with the reporter. However, he found a silver lining in Nacua’s approach.

“There is a beauty in that in all seriousness. Let’s just say that’s the case,” McVay said to the media. “I know this, that guy is going to show up when we play the [San Francisco 49ers, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Seattle Seahawks], and shoot, if he thinks that we’re in the same division as the Eagles, then let’s show up against them too.”

Nacua has played only five games this season and has 373 yards for a touchdown under his belt. The WR will be in action against the Eagles on Sunday with kickoff scheduled at 8:20 p.m. ET.
