‘What’s This Bulls**t?’ — NFL Fans Deem Micah Parsons Delusional After Wild Comments on Most Recent Podcast

    Published on

The NFL fans called out Micah Parsons after the Dallas Cowboys star boasted about the team amid its five-game losing streak.

Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys have had a season to forget. With their 34-10 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 11, Dallas is now 3-7 on the season.

The Cowboys have not won a game at home this year and are currently on a five-game losing streak. However, despite that, Parsons believes that his team is a “damn good football team.”

Fans Called Out Micah Parsons for His Belief in the Cowboys

Parsons boasted about the Cowboys in the latest segment of his podcast named “The Edge with Micah Parsons.” The fans on social media went after him and called him out for his delusion. Here’s how they reacted:

“What’s this bulls**t?” said one fan about Parsons’ comments.

Another fan added, “A damn good football team would not be 3-7.”

“Stop taking and show it,” wrote a fan.

Another fan said, “This is the problem. Instead of busting a** and getting better, these guys are doing podcasts.”

The Cowboys’ defense, led by Parsons, has given up an average of 37.4 points per game in home games this year. Based on every metric, they are not a good football team, and if the Cowboys’ players continue to say things like these without winning games, the fans will not shy in calling him out.

In fact, according to Pro Football Network’s proprietary DEF+ metric, the Cowboys are currently the 24th worst defense in the NFL with a D+ grade. They are behind teams like the Colts, Saints, and Rams.

Dak Prescott is set to miss the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury, and based on how the team has played in his absence, it doesn’t look like Dallas can even win against the lowly Carolina Panthers in Week 15.

Head coach Mike McCarthy is in the final year of his contract, and all signs point to his exit after the season. After Dallas lost to Houston, Dez Bryant even vouched for Deion Sanders to become the next head coach of the team, which gave rise to further speculations about the Colorado head coach’s future.

Cooper Rush Will Remain Cowboys’ Starting QB for Week 12

Since Prescott got hurt, the Cowboys have scored a total of just 16 points across two games with Cooper Rush as the quarterback. Many thought the team would give an opportunity to Trey Lance in Week 12, but as of now, the team is sticking with Rush.

Rush has thrown for 399 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, completing 57.7% of his throws with a passer rating of 70.4 in his two starts this season. PFN’s QB+ metric had Rush ranked as the 25 QB of 28 this week, grabbing a D+ grade for his showing.

“Rush recorded a D- grade in his first start of the season versus the Eagles last week. So Monday night represented progress … sort of. Truthfully, it would have been nearly impossible for the Dallas Cowboys offense and Rush to play worse than they did last week.

Rush was still the fourth-lowest graded quarterback of the week, nothing to brag about on the report card. The Cowboys’ substitute QB1 had the worst EPA per dropback when pressured (-1.07) of any passer in Week 11, highlighted by a disastrous strip-sack scoop-and-score.”

Dallas is set to face the Washington Commanders this upcoming Sunday as a 10-point underdog. There are seven games left in the season, and Lance is likely to get an opportunity further down the road. The team currently thinks that Rush gives them the best chance to win, which is not the general opinion.

Dallas has a real chance of landing a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. It will be crucial for Jones to get a new head coach by then, as the roster has a lot of issues that need to be addressed.
