    Published on

NFL fans weren’t amused when Travis Kelce churned out a "Get Rich Quick" scheme for the kid who fell off the railing during Chiefs/Panthers.

Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end, finds himself in hot water with NFL fans after his controversial comments on a fan incident during the Chiefs’ narrow 30-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

As Kansas City celebrated its 10th win of the season, chaos ensued at Bank of America Stadium when a young fan fell from the stands. However, Chiefs defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton quickly intervened, catching the boy and helping him back into the stands.

Travis Kelce Trolled Over “Get Rich Quick” Scheme

On the latest episode of his podcast New Heights with his brother Jason, the Chiefs TE admitted he saw the mishap but didn’t intervene. He also took aim at the Panthers’ stadium setup, saying, “I don’t know who the brainiac was who cut the railing right there… What the f*** is that for?”

Jason also joined the bashing with a sarcastic jab, suggesting the Panthers might be “anti-kid.” However, Travis’ advice to the young fan drew the most criticism. He said, “Dude he should f***ing go to school with a neck brace on and sue the f***ing Panthers. Get rich quick, kid.”

NFL fans weren’t amused. One fan called Kelce out, tweeting, “Bro what that was his fault not the panthers.”

“Or maybe don’t lean over the railing. The kid seemed not that smart to be leaning over a railing that is high up,” said another.

Another said, “Idk I figured it was common sense to not put your whole body weight over the side….”

“What a Kelce thing to say,” wrote one fan.

One X user tweeted, “Travis that salty for almost losing to a bottom 3 team.”

“The kelces corrupting kids again with schemes i see,” one more fan said.

The game itself was nothing short of thrilling. Kelce recorded six catches for 62 yards, pushing his career total to 11,897 receiving yards (third all-time among tight ends). However, Kelce wasn’t able to find the end zone.

Patrick Mahomes threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns, including two to backup tight end Noah Gray. Mahomes, being clutch as usual, also orchestrated a game-winning drive capped by Spencer Shrader’s field goal. This secured Kansas City’s spot atop the AFC standings as the Chiefs bask in another double-digit win season.
