‘Raiders Script Leak’ – NFL Fans Cheer for Shedeur Sanders After Top Draft Prospect Attends Flag Football Game

The days leading up to the Super Bowl are always busy for players and the media. Even though the big game is just one contest, Super Bowl Week is chock full of action for visitors and residents in New Orleans.

On Feb. 8, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell gave popular streamers IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat the chance to organize a celebrity flag football game.

One of the most exciting participants in the action was the potential No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

NFL Fans Cheer On Shedeur Sanders

The contest featured an exciting lineup, including Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who’s ready to take the NFL by storm in 2025.

Sanders played on Cenat’s team and the NFL’s official Instagram page uploaded a video of Sanders in slow motion wearing a “KC” jersey with the Las Vegas Raiders banner in the background.

Fans in the comment section came alive after seeing the banner and suggested that Sanders is definitely heading to Sin City.

“Raiders script leak,” a fan said.

    “Foreshadowing…” another fan suggested.

“NFL script writers leaving an easter egg with the Raiders logo in the background,” another fan echoed.

“Raiders logo on the back 😤😤.”

Although Team Kai played well, former NFL QB Cam Newton threw the game-winning touchdown pass to rapper Quavo for Team Speed.

The Feb. 8 game was part of the lead-up to Super Bowl 59, where the two-time defending champions Kansas City Chiefs will play against the Philadelphia Eagles with the game set to begin at 6:30 p.m. EST on Feb. 9.

Sanders, who led the Buffaloes to a 9-4 record last season, has been linked to the Raiders often. But with Las Vegas holding the No. 6 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, it’s not probable the franchise will be able to pick Sanders, as teams ahead of Las Vegas also need a quarterback. Since Sanders is one of the top two quarterbacks in the draft pool, he may be selected earlier.

Instead, Sanders is projected by Pro Football Network’s latest 7-round mock draft by Ian Cummings to be selected at No. 2 by the Cleveland Browns, who don’t seem to have Deshaun Watson in their long term plans after he was ruled out with a season-ending surgery in January, 2024. The team is also lacking on defense, which is likely to get worse as defensive end Myles Garrett requested a trade in the lead-up to the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, at No. 6 in the mock draft, Cummings has the Raiders selecting Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty.
