Can Freddie Kitchens handle huge expectations in Cleveland?
The Los Angeles Lakers are the obvious Hollywood team of the NBA. Will the Cleveland Browns be the new Hollywood team for the NFL? They arguably have the best receiving corps in the NFL with Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, and that’s just the start. The only part that could potentially derail their season is egos. Yes, the Browns are no longer the laughing stock of the NFL. Yes, they have a better shot at being good this season. With egos everywhere, Freddie Kitchens will need to step up and be a leader. The Browns can succeed but Kitchens will have to lead them.
Can Mike Zimmer and Kirk Cousins get off the hot seat?
The Minnesota Vikings signed Kirk Cousins last offseason to a 4-year, $84 million guaranteed contract. Cousins didn’t have a bad season on the stat line though. Cousins threw for 4,298 yards, 30 touchdowns, and ten interceptions. He wasn’t bad at all. The Vikings on the other hand…they sucked. A focus on the running game, an above average win record, and a coach who wouldn’t do what his star QB was good at. The Vikings, specifically head coach Mike Zimmer, needs to change and work towards a better plan to succeed this season.
