This game between the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles in Philly has a peculiar feeling about it. The Seahawks lost their last two games of the season, costing them a shot at the number one seed in the NFC. Meanwhile, the Eagles won four games on the bounce to win them the NFC East title and the chance to host this playoff game. Both teams have been ravaged by injury this season, and there are still question marks surrounding some players on both sides. Let’s take a look at this NFC Wild Card clash with the PFN betting crew, and see which NFL picks have value in the Seahawks vs Eagles game on Sunday.

Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
Time: 4:40 pm EST
Spread: Seahawks -1.5
O/U: 45

The betting pattern in this game has been heavily on the Seahawks, with the team from Seattle seeing over 80% of the bet slips. However, with just 65% of the money being on the Seahawks, enough big money is coming in on the Eagles to hold this line at Seahawks -1.5. Over 80% of the money on the total has been coming in on the under, which has caused the line to drop from 46 to 45. If this pattern continues or the weather is expected to have a more significant influence on the game, then we may even yet see it go lower.

Bet predictions from Ben Rolfe

I am really not sure what to make of this game between two teams struggling with injuries. I believe that the Eagles have just started clicking enough, but I have been let down them by them enough already this season. The under is also perhaps the way to lean. Still, with the bad weather expected to clear Philadelphia just after Sunday lunchtime, there could actually be reasonably calm conditions for the quarterbacks in this game. Therefore, I am going to stay off this game, especially with so many props being off the board right now due to the injuries. Some props to watch include receptions for Boston Scott if Miles Sanders is out, and the reception totals for Dallas Goedert if Zach Ertz is unable to suit up.

Bet predictions from Ryan Gosling

In the last of the playoff games, the Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Seattle Seahawks as 2.5 point home underdogs. This game is challenging to handicap, with both teams suffering critical injuries in important positions. The Eagles squeaked into the playoffs thanks to a week NFC East, but have looked good offensively the last few games. Meanwhile, Seattle has done nothing but played close games all season. With the injury to Chris Carson, I feel like Seattle will try to take advantage of the weak Philly secondary. But, that might be a tough task playing in hostile territory. The Eagles, meanwhile, will have to rely on basically practice squad players to get any semblance of an offense together.

I will likely not have a bet on the side, because this game could go either way. However, I will put my money in the hands of Rusell Wilson. He always shows up in big games, and he will likely do the same here.

1u – Russell Wilson Over 250.5 passing yards | -110
1u – Russell Wilson Over 1.5 TD passes | -120

Bet predictions from Jason Sarney

The Philadelphia Eagles limp into a home playoff game as NFC East Division winners. They are extremely banged up, and while they are unbeaten since that loss in Miami, Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are simply the better team. This game may not have fireworks of the earlier NFC wild card game, but it should be a quality football game if you like a strategic chess-match of a game. Look for Seattle to head back home as winners, as Philly gives it an admirable, Rocky-like effort.

1u – Seattle Seahawks -1.5 | -105
1u – Under 45 Total Points | -107

Bet predictions from Chris Smith

The Philadelphia Eagles host the Seattle Seahawks in a battle of teams who I can’t wait to fade in the divisional round of the NFC Playoffs. By now, it’s been well documented just how many injuries the Eagles are dealing with, but the Seahawks are pretty banged-up themselves. Quandre Diggs and Jadeveon Clowney are both trending towards playing, while Zach Ertz and Lane Johnson are questionable for Philly. With so many variables at play, I don’t feel comfortable grabbing a side in this game. Teasing the Eagles up to +7.5 is the logical play if you can find a second leg you feel comfortable with (perhaps Saints -2). I’ll probably wait until just before kickoff to find a potential player prop I might like, so follow me @ChrisSmithPFN to see any last minute or live bets this weekend.
