New York Giants Free Agency Predictions: New York Signs Gabe Davis, Kevin Dotson, and Azeez Al-Shaair

The New York Giants have plenty of holes to fill on their roster in free agency. Here are three Giants free agency predictions, led by signing WR Gabe Davis.

NFL free agency is less than two weeks away as teams are scrambling to finalize their plans for the offseason. After a disappointing performance last season, the New York Giants have plenty of holes to fill on their roster.

Let’s take a look at three Giants free agency predictions heading into a potential franchise-altering offseason in New York.

New York Giants Free Agency Predictions

New York heads into free agency with plenty of questions about its current roster. The Giants are once again looking for help to fortify their offensive line, which appears to be a never-ending issue for the franchise.

Luckily for Giants general manager Joe Schoen, New York is armed with over $35 million in cap space to work with. However, Schoen will be tasked with fixing much more than just New York’s offensive line this offseason.

Sign Gabe Davis To Rejoin With HC Brian Daboll

After the Kenny Golladay signing failed miserably in New York, the Giants are still looking for talent at wide receiver. Gabe Davis shined at times with the Buffalo Bills, and Giants head coach Brian Daboll worked with Davis in Buffalo before becoming New York’s head coach.

Davis is likely looking for both a payday and an increased role with his next team in free agency. New York would be able to meet both of those needs while also reuniting Davis with his former offensive coordinator, who he shared a funny story about last season on the ‘Up & Adams’ show.

Add Kevin Dotson To Address the Offensive Line

Despite drafting Andrew Thomas, Evan Neal, and John Michael Schmitz over the past four years, New York still needs help along the offensive line. The Giants allowed a league-leading 85 sacks last season, 20 more than the next closest team allowed.

Signing guard Kevin Dotson would provide a massive upgrade for the interior of New York’s offensive line. Dotson was an elite run blocker last season for the Los Angeles Rams, helping Kyren Williams rush for 1,144 yards and 12 touchdowns in just 12 games.

At 27 years old, Dotson would provide the Giants with a veteran presence in the trenches that would hopefully revitalize their rushing attack. Dotson has room to improve as a pass blocker but would still provide a drastic upgrade over last season’s unit.

Reunite Azeez Al-Shaair With DC Shane Bowen

Although the Giants hit a home run by signing Bobby Okereke last offseason, they could still use help at linebacker. After hiring former Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Shane Bowen to fill the same void in New York, the Giants could target one of his former players.

Azeez Al-Shaair signed a one-year deal with the Titans last season and showcased his elite potential in Bowen’s defense. Al-Shaair finished last season with 163 total tackles, four passes defended, two sacks, and one fumble recovery. He would form one of the NFL’s best linebacker duos with Okereke in New York.
