Steph Curry made NBA history during Monday's game between the Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets.

On Monday night, the Golden State Warriors played the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center in New York.

The Warriors won by a score of 120-107.

Steph Curry finished the victory with 27 points, two rebounds, five assists and one steal while shooting 8/15 from the field and 5/12 from three-point range in 29 minutes of playing time.

In addition to his strong night, Curry also made NBA history.

Curry came into the night with averages of 28.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 38.9% from three-point range in 23 games.

With their victory over Brooklyn, the Warriors improved to 17-16 in 33 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 7-12 in the 19 games they have played on the road away from the Chase Center.

Following the Nets, the Warriors will play their next game on Wednesday when they visit LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina.

As for Garnett (who Curry passed), he is one of the best forwards in NBA history.

The 2008 NBA Champion played 21 seasons for the Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves and Brooklyn Nets.

His career averages were 17.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.4 blocks per contest while shooting 49.7% from the field in 1,462 games.

On the other side, the Nets dropped to 10-20 in 30 games, which has them as the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference.

They will host Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets on Thursday night.
