Speculation surrounding LeBron James’ NBA future is continuing in full swing as the Los Angeles Lakers superstar weighs his options.
James’ agent, Rich Paul, has now revealed that there is no truth to all the rumors flying around regarding the 41-year-old’s plans for next season.

Rich Paul Provides Update On LeBron James’ NBA Future
James will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and is currently weighing whether to return to the Lakers, move to another franchise, or retire from the NBA after 23 years in the league.
His agent appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday and set the record straight on some of the speculation.
“The numbers being thrown around and what we’re asking about, that’s all false. We haven’t had one conversation with anybody about anything. So I’ll continue to give him his time, and we’ll talk when he’s ready,” Rich Paul said.
Paul also refuted claims that James has decided to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers on a veteran’s minimum contract. He made it clear that the Lakers’ superstar has not finalized his plans for next season and is taking his time before making any decisions.
“None of those numbers are real. People speculate… But there’s nobody that can say to you that they know what we’re planning to do because I don’t even know what he’s planning to do. I said to him, ‘Take your time. Take as much time as you need and want. When you’re ready to talk, whatever that conversation may be, I’ll be here.’ It’s just that simple,” he added.

James has previously stated that he would wait until the start of free agency in late June before deciding on his future plans. He hinted that his decision could also be delayed till July or August.
The four-time NBA champion is coming off another strong season with the Lakers, averaging 20.9 points, 7.2 assists, and 6.1 rebounds per game during the regular season. He raised his level during the playoffs, but wasn’t able to lead the Lakers past the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round.
The Lakers are likely to offer James a contract extension this offseason. However, reports also claim that the Cavaliers, the Golden State Warriors, and the Miami Heat could emerge as potential suitors for his signature.
