Raptors HC Darko Rajaković Dropped the Perfect 2-Word Reaction to Draymond Green’s Rare Shooting Night

The Toronto Raptors played a solid game but completely overlooked Draymond Green’s shooting ability. With Stephen Curry sidelined, Green took charge and kept sinking 3-pointers.

The Golden State Warriors secured their victory, Darko Rajaković’s two-word reaction to Green hitting his fourth 3-pointer was a mix of shock, disbelief, and a touch of respect.

The Raptors visited the Chase Center on March 20, 2025, to play against the Warriors and lost, 117—114.

Green took charge while Curry was out, scoring 21 points with five 3-pointers to his name. He added seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals to his performance. His offensive style played a vital role in keeping the Warriors’ energy up and achieving the hard-fought win.

Green stated on an ESPN report, “just trying to be what I whatever I need to be for my team if that’s aggressive offensively that’s aggressive”

This victory was the Warriors’ ninth out of their last ten matches, showing the team’s strength and depth, especially in dealing with the absence of their star player during the game.

Green’s fourth 3-pointer was obviously not what the scouting report called for but the Raptors’ head coach, Rajaković, flashed a smile when it went down. He responded casually by saying, “Keep shooting”.

Coach Rajaković has previously been quite open about his thoughts on the Warriors’ players. Earlier this season, after a difficult game against Golden State, he jokingly mentioned Stephen Curry’s impressive longevity, saying, “I can’t wait for him to retire. I’m going to get drunk that night, I promise you that.”

In the post-game press conference, Steve Kerr talked about Raptors and said “ I know that their record’s not great but they play really good defense — you know they’re over the last 10 games — I think seventh in the league in defensive rating — they turn you over uh they lead the league in fouls and so it’s you’re going to get fouled um all game and the refs can only call so many of them and so they have a very aggressive attack mentality”

Giving an update on Stephen’s injury Kerr said, “he is getting an MRI right now he just — kind of fell on pelvic — you know tailbone area so he was trying to come back. He thought he might be able to come back and — we just decided not to risk anything and so hopefully it’s not bad but he’s getting imaging right now he had a similar injury you probably remember a few years ago a couple of years ago”
