NBA Legend John Wall Announces Latest Career Move

Washington Wizards legend John Wall announced his latest post-career job. He last played in the NBA during the 2023 season.

John Wall was once among the most exciting players in the NBA when he played for the Washington Wizards.

The Kentucky legend last played in the league during the 2022-23 season when he appeared in 34 games for the LA Clippers.

On Tuesday night, the 2025-26 NBA season is tipping off with a game between the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder.

John Wall Announces Latest Career Move

Before the game began, Wall announced that he will be working with NBATV this season.

Wall officially retired from playing basketball over the offseason.

Wall was the first pick in the 2010 NBA Draft after one season of college basketball.

He played for the Wizards, Rockets and Clippers over 11 seasons.

His career averages were 18.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 43.0% from the field and 32.2% from the three-point range in 647 games.

While Wall never reached the NBA Finals, he was named to five All-Star Games.

In addition, he led the Wizards to the playoffs four times.
