NBA Fans React To Zion Williamson’s Performance In Pelicans-Hawks Game

    On Wednesday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans played the Atlanta Hawks in Georgia.

    The Pelicans lost by a score of 117-100.

    Zion Williamson finished the loss with 22 points, eight rebounds, six assists and one steal while shooting 10/15 from the field in 31 minutes of playing time.

    Williamson is now averaging 22.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 56.2% from the field in 23 games.

    He is in his seventh NBA season out of Duke.

    With their loss to the Hawks, the Pelicans dropped to 8-31 in 39 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Western Conference.

    They are in the middle of a nine-game losing streak (and 2-14 on the road).

    Following the Hawks, the Pelicans will play their next game on Friday night when they visit the Washington Wizards.

    On the other side, the Hawks improved to 18-21 in 39 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference.

    They are 7-11 in 18 games at home.

    Following the Pelicans, the Hawks will play their next game on Friday night when they visit the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.
