Dallas Mavericks fans are not pleased with the current state of affairs and are blaming Nico Harrison. Harrison is the general manager for the Dallas Mavericks and regarded as the main person responsible for the trade that sent Luka Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers.
While Harrison and the rest of the Mavericks’ upper management may have believed that they made the right decision, things have gone downhill steadily for the team since then. Several players on their roster, such as Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving, have been injured and sidelined.
It would certainly be in the Mavericks’ best interest to regain the favor of fans. However, their decision to go in the opposite direction has stunned the entire fanbase.
Nico Harrison, Mavericks Plan To Increase Ticket Prices by 8%
Since the Dallas Mavericks just traded away Luka Dončić and avoided paying him hundreds of millions of dollars, one would assume that the franchise would make concessions for fans in terms of ticket prices.

Despite having the majority of their stars injured, the Mavericks plan to increase their ticket prices by eight percent. Upon hearing this news, the majority of the NBA world was shocked and made their disgust clear on social media. Some even went far enough to claim that the fanbase should incite riots against Harrison.
“Any Mavs fan has a free pass to choose a new team without judgement,” said one user on X.
“Fans should revolt,” claimed another.
Fans should revolt.

“They clearly hate their fans,” said another user on X.
The Mavericks’ business decisions have been so stunning that some fans have formed conspiracy theories that the owners want to relocate the franchise to a different city. As a result, they are doing everything in their power to disassociate themselves from the city and its people.
“Definitely confirms the Vegas owners rigging the team to go to Vegas, smh sad what it’s come too,” said one NBA fan.
Yup they definitely trying to move the team

If theories regarding the front office willingly sabotaging an entire franchise are gaining traction, one can only imagine how confused and annoyed fans must be feeling over this entire situation.
As things stand, the Mavs hold the 10th spot in the Western Conference. Fans will not have to worry about paying increased ticket prices for the postseason if things keep up in the same manner.
