Milos Uzan’s Draft Projection: 5 NBA Teams That Could Select the Houston Star in 2025

Milos Uzan isn’t expected to go in the lottery. There’s a solid chance he might not be picked in the first round of the NBA Draft. However, he should be picked around the beginning of the second round, giving him ample opportunity to prove himself in the NBA.

The Houston guard has made himself stand out during March Madness, which should undoubtedly improve his draft stock. Even so, he could go anywhere in the NBA. Here are five teams that could pick him.

Five Teams That Could Select Milos Uzan in the 2025 NBA Draft

If Uzan makes it in the NBA, he is projected to be more of a complementary playmaker. While projecting him as a starter could be too optimistic, he could be a draft steal for teams looking for a rotation player.

    Boston Celtics

The Celtics could be in for some significant changes this offseason. They don’t want to be in the second tax apron for a third straight season, which could mean they’ll cut ties with Jrue Holiday and Payton Pritchard.

Uzan might not be as good as they are right away, but he could add some playmaking and shooting to their second unit. If they trade some of their guards away, Uzan could fill that hole.

    Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers lost a good chunk of their depth to make room for Bogdan Bogdanovic and Ben Simmons. Getting a young playmaker like Uzan could give them a Terance Mann-like replacement.

LA is already a pretty frisky team. Adding a potential two-way guard like Uzan could make them all the tougher to beat. Getting solid production on a rookie contract could help the Clippers squeeze the most success out of Kawhi Leonard and James Harden.

    Minnesota Timberwolves

The Timberwolves also don’t want to be in the NBA’s second tax apron, and Mike Conley’s not getting any younger. Uzan doesn’t fill in everything that Conley brings, but he gives them shooting, playmaking, and defense.

For a team that may do some penny-pinching, Uzan would give them solid production for cheap. His decision-making could be lethal next to Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert.

    Phoenix Suns

The Suns are pretty directionless and could be in line for some significant changes this offseason. They have lacked playmaking from their guards, though they’ve tried to address that. Uzan could help them in a re-tool, even if he may not be ready right away.

Tyus Jones and Monte Morris haven’t worked out the way the Suns would have preferred. If Uzan’s basketball skill set translates into the NBA, he could potentially upgrade them.

    Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers desperately need someone who can make plays. Having one player who can do that can make all their pieces fall into place. They have the NBA stars that make a contender, but they need a connector, and Uzan can be that.

It might be too much pressure for Uzan to be a playmaker for them right away, but he could be the jack-of-al-trades the Sixers have needed after losing James Harden.

Uzan has made a name for himself during the NCAA tournament. His impressive rise could make him one of the biggest steals in the 2025 NBA Draft. It could all depend on who picks him.
