Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James’ youngest child, Zhuri, recently carried out a heartfelt gesture for her mother, Savannah. The act elicited a wholesome four-word reaction from the James family matriarch, who continues to document her growing bond with her lone daughter.
Savannah James Reacts to Daughter Zhuri’s ‘Thoughtful’ Gesture
On Monday, April 14, Savannah took to her Instagram stories and shared a photo of freshly picked blue flowers in a Mason jar. She captioned the post, “Thoughtful gifts from Zhuri,” alongside a smiling face with hearts emoji, seemingly implying that it was the latest in a series of Zhuri’s sentimental presents.

Savannah’s IG story comes on the heels of her and Zhuri regularly participating in TikTok dance videos together. The mother-daughter duo can often be seen capitalizing on viral trends. This includes their trip to South Korea in January, when they danced along to Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Let’s Groove.” The businesswoman turned her downtime during her work venture for her skincare line into an opportunity to explore Seoul alongside Zhuri.
Additionally, Savannah has enthusiastically supported her 10-year-old daughter’s budding volleyball stint with City Volleyball Club. Last week, she shared a clip on her IG stories of Zhuri completing a clutch late-game play, captioning it, “For the win!!!” alongside a volleyball and fire emoji.
Given her family background, Zhuri’s athletic development has come as a surprise to few. Aside from her father being arguably the greatest basketball player ever, her eldest brother, Bronny, just capped off his first NBA regular season alongside his father, LeBron.
LeBron, Bronny, and the Western Conference’s third-seeded Lakers (50-32) are set to host the sixth-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves (49-33) in the playoffs’ first round. That will mark the rookie’s first NBA playoff experience.
Moreover, Zhuri and Bronny’s middle sibling, Bryce, is gearing up for his freshman college basketball season at the University of Arizona. He is currently ranked as a four-star recruit and the 40th-best small forward in ESPN’s Class of 2025. Thus, if his basketball career pans out, he could follow in his father and brother’s footsteps by making the NBA.
As for Zhuri, it appears too early to tell where her athletic abilities will take her. Nevertheless, she is seemingly making the most of her childhood and furthering her close connection with her mother and the rest of the James clan.
