Minnesota Timberwolves star forward Julius Randle is a force on the court — and a devoted family man off it. His wife, Kendra, has an active presence on social media and is often seen at his games with their eldest son, Kyden.
In their previous stop in New York, the family was cheered on by Knicks fans. Kendra, who often interacts with fans on social media, with son Kyden, carried the enthusiasm on to the next stop in Minnesota, where the Timberwolves will be seen battling the Oklahoma City Thunder for the win.
All About Timberwolves Star Julius Randle’s Wife Kendra and Kids
Julius and Kendra are college sweethearts. They met at the University of Kentucky, where he played for the Wildcats, and she was studying fashion design. It was love at first sight for the pair who met at a party, and after a few years of dating, they tied the knot in 2017. In 2019, Julius told the NY Post, “You never really plan when you’re going to get married.” He continued, “I didn’t see any point in waiting; she was the person I knew I wanted to be with.”
In addition to being her husband’s biggest supporter, Kendra has run a successful clothing brand, KALORE, for the past five years. She often models her designs both online and courtside.
The couple has three children: sons Kyden (born in 2016) and Jaycey (born in 2021), and daughter Romi, whose birth Kendra recently announced on Instagram.

She also posted an Easter photo on her Instagram, with the five of them, with the caption, “My heart is so full.”
Kendra has remained by Julius’s side through challenging moments in basketball, including his transition from New York to Minnesota. In October 2024, she shared her thoughts on the move, appreciating that it took place during the offseason.
“I’m really grateful that it’s actually not in the middle of the season, like before the deadline or whatever, but it has been pretty crazy for our first time and unexpected,” she said in a TikTok video. “And I’m not gonna lie, when we heard Minnesota it was pretty shocking, although we were ready to leave New York. … It was a great experience, but we were already looking to move outside the city. It was just getting so hard and overwhelming for us because my husband is from Texas and I’m from Kentucky and that’s just not how we grew up.”
Randle’s Biggest Fan Is His Son
Kyden is often seen courtside cheering for his dad. In a press conference alongside Randle earlier this month, he shared the motivational message he gives his father before games: “I just tell him to lock in, and play good.”
"Lock in and play good."

That advice seems to be working. Randle, a multiple-time All-Star, was instrumental in the Timberwolves’ playoff series win over the Golden State Warriors, averaging 23.9 points on 50.9% shooting and developing a strong on-court chemistry with teammate Anthony Edwards.
After several productive seasons in New York, the 30-year-old appears to have found a new home in Minnesota. The Timberwolves opened Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.
