On Monday night, the Detroit Pistons will host the Washington Wizards in Michigan.
The Pistons are coming off a 111-108 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers (on the road).

Detroit Pistons Reportedly Waiving Colby Jones
Before the Pistons play the Wizards, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported that the team is making a series of roster moves.
First, he reported that they are signing former Duke star Wendell Moore Jr.
Via Scotto: “Just In: The Detroit Pistons plan to sign Wendell Moore Jr. to a two-way contract, league sources told @hoopshype. The former 26th pick of the 2022 NBA Draft has played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Hornets in three NBA seasons.”

Scotto then reported that to make room (for Moore Jr.), the Pistons are expected to release Colby Jones.
Via Scotto: “The Detroit Pistons plan to waive two-way guard Colby Jones to make room for the addition of Wendell Moore Jr, league sources said. Jones played one game for Detroit this season. The 34th pick of the 2023 NBA Draft has also played for the Sacramento Kings and Washington Wizards.”

Jones was the 34th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Xavier.
He has appeared in 70 NBA games (with the Kings, Wizards and Pistons).
The 23-year-old has career averages of 3.2 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest while shooting 43.3% from the field and 24.7% from three-point range.
As for the Pistons, they are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with an 8-2 record in ten games.
Following the Wizards, they will play their next game on Wednesday night when they host the Chicago Bulls.
