The support comes as no surprise, as Haliburton and Clark have been incredibly supportive of each other in the past year. Haliburton has shown up in multiple Fever games, cheering Clark on, as Clark and the team won their home opener. And everyone’s with Clark on this one.
New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers: A Stunning Comeback
Wednesday saw the Knicks going head-to-head with the Pacers’ aggressive strategies. In the fourth quarter, New York led by 17 points, and with 2 minutes 45 seconds remaining on the clock, the gap was 14.
The thrilling game came down to just one final possession for Indiana, as they were down 2 points with roughly 7 seconds remaining on the clock. Haliburton controlled the ball, attempting to run and dive in for a sharp 3-pointer.
Those final seconds felt like an eternity, as the ball looked like it wouldn’t go in, but it finally fell back in the net. And then came the replay!
The replay displayed Tyerese’s foot was on the 3-point line. The game automatically went into overtime at 125.
Pacers then continued their momentum for one final push to gain the edge with a 138-135 victory.
In the OT, New York did in fact get the advantage in a few places, but Andrew Nembhard answered everything strongly with 3-pointers and layups to gain Indy’s lead. Nembhard made many crucial plays to help seal the deal. Haliburton finished the game with 31 points on 12-of-23 shooting, 11 assists, and 4 rebounds.

Haliburton celebrated the final win by pulling out the Reggie Miller’s “choking” sign against the Knicks, taunting them for blowing the lead. The “choke” originally appeared during the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals, when Miller and the Pacers similarly defeated the Knicks. Truly, a fashionable comeback for the Pacers. The two teams now meet on Friday in New York.
