NASCAR rising star Toni Breidinger stepped into the international spotlight at the Miami premiere of Netflix’s highly anticipated documentary, “The Seat.” The exclusive event held on the eve of the Miami Grand Prix brought together prominent figures from both NASCAR and Formula 1, highlighting the growing intersection between American stock car racing and global open-wheel competition.

The premiere celebrated the journey of Mercedes prodigy Kimi Antonelli as he prepares to step into Formula 1 following Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari. Made in collaboration with WhatsApp, the film gives fans a rare peek behind the curtain at how the Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff makes his decisions and shows Antonelli’s quick rise through the racing ranks.
Breidinger wasn’t just there to enjoy the show. Her presence made a statement about her growing influence in motorsports. The event was hosted by Susie Wolff, who runs the F1 Academy and is married to Toto. With Mercedes leadership and Antonelli himself there too, it showed how Breidinger’s fame is growing beyond just NASCAR circles.

“I think people want to know the real you. … People watch me race on TV, [but] they get to know the real me [through social media]. Hopefully, I can bring a new demographic to watch the Truck Series and to watch NASCAR. I do feel like my fan base is very international,” Breidinger has said.
Before the glamor of Miami, Breidinger was busy racing at Texas Motor Speedway. She had some car trouble and finished 26th in a tough Truck Series race. Even with that rough day, she’s still 23rd in the standings and continues building her name both as a racer and as a face for Toyota and Tricon Garage.
Her Miami weekend wasn’t just about the documentary. She also showed up at the F1 sprint race and the Miami Open, always sporting her signature style. With her social media popularity and modeling gigs for brands like Victoria’s Secret, she’s famous well beyond the racetrack with millions of followers watching her every move.
Some NASCAR fans debate whether she’s more influencer than racer, with some seeing her marketing appeal as a big plus, while others wonder if her popularity is bigger than her racing results. But through it all, she keeps working to improve her driving and represent people who don’t usually see themselves in motorsports.
By standing alongside F1 royalty and continuing to break barriers in NASCAR, Breidinger is helping to shape the future of racing, bridging two worlds of motorsport and bringing new audiences to both disciplines.
