Homestead-Miami Speedway is one of those tracks that has never ceased to deliver enthralling racing action for NASCAR fans across the United States. Rightfully so, the 2025 Straight Talk Wireless 400 delivered a spectacular afternoon of racing with a blend of unexpected twists, as Kyle Larson came out of nowhere to steal his 30th NASCAR Cup Series victory.

2025 Straight Talk Wireless 400: Final Results of the Homestead-Miami NASCAR Cup Race

After securing a dominant pole position on Saturday, March 22, Alex Bowman took the green flag and led for eight laps before Ryan Blaney made his move. The two engaged in a fierce battle for the top spot, swapping positions back and forth, until Blaney finally broke free, building a solid gap over Bowman and winning the first stage.

A similar trend followed in Stage 2, except Blaney hardly kept a foot wrong and retained the top spot until lap 161.

Then Denny Hamlin and Larson arrived — on entirely different tire strategies — joining the battle for the Stage 2 victory. The three-way battle ended in Hamlin’s favor as the No. 11 driver snuck his way past Larson and Blaney on the final lap to win his first stage of the year.

Just 11 laps into the final stage, Blaney’s engine failed, forcing the Team Penske driver to return to the garage and bring out the caution flag. From there, it was another three-way battle between Larson, Bowman, and Bubba Wallace. The trio exchanged the lead for nearly 94 laps until Larson finally found his rhythm and raced his way to the checkered flag.

Meanwhile, Bowman and Wallace had to settle for second and third, respectively. Chase Briscoe came home in fourth while Stage 2 winner Hamlin claimed a solid fifth for Joe Gibbs Racing.
