NASCAR young gun Sam Mayer is turning heads with a flashy new look as he gets ready for this weekend’s race in Texas. The 21-year-old driver will pilot the No. 41 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for the Haas Factory Team, featuring a bold new Andy’s Frozen Custard livery that has already generated significant buzz across the NASCAR community.
Haas’ Eye-Catching Design for Sam Mayer Takes Center Stage
The Haas Factory Team showed off Mayer’s special paint job on social media earlier this week. The car pops with bright sky blue and red colors, with Andy’s Frozen Custard logos splashed across the hood and sides.
Mayer’s name sits proudly on the roof alongside the Xfinity Series banner. The back of the car has a fun touch with the slogan “Top your day with a smile,” perfectly matching the cheerful frozen custard brand.

After spending over three years with JR Motorsports, where he racked up several wins, Mayer made the big jump to the Haas Factory Team for the 2025 season. It’s a major move in his career, switching from his old No. 1 Chevrolet to the No. 41 Ford Mustang.
Fans are extra excited to see Mayer back at Texas Motor Speedway since he grabbed his first win of the 2024 season at this very track in one of the closest finishes Xfinity Series fans have ever seen. His cool-under-pressure style and road course skills make him someone to watch whenever the green flag drops.
New Beginning for Sam Mayer
“I’m definitely ready to turn the page and have a new chapter in the Xfinity Series with Haas Factory, because they are going to do wonders in my career,” Mayer said earlier this year.
The Haas Factory Team is also starting fresh in 2025 putting more focus on their Xfinity Series program while cutting back on Cup Series racing. Joe Custer, the team president, made it clear they’re still all about winning: “We plan on dominating next year. If we don’t, I’ll be responsible for that because we certainly have the drivers that can get it done.”
The Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 at Texas Motor Speedway marks the 12th race of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. It’ll be a packed house with 40 drivers fighting for just 38 spots. Mayer, last year’s winner, is gunning for back-to-back victories to show he’s a serious championship contender.
Mayer’s eye-catching Andy’s Frozen Custard Haas Mustang isn’t just about looking good, it represents his fresh start with Haas Factory Team and his big dreams for the 2025 season. As he tries to defend his Texas title, all eyes will be on the No. 41 and its bold new look as it tears around the Lone Star State track.
