Kyle Busch’s son, Brexton, had a hilarious response to his father’s X post after the duo stopped by the Cincinnati Reds’ spring training complex in Goodyear, Arizona. Busch and his son took part in batting practice and spent time with Reds players Jose Trevino, Jake Fraley, and Andrew Abbott.

Soon after the session, Busch posted on X to thank the Reds for letting him and his son take some swings. He also joked that baseball wasn’t his calling and that he was better off sticking to racing.

Busch’s nine-year-old son, Brexton, had a cheeky reply:
“WHAT?!? You barely got it out of the infield.”

The playful exchange continued, with Busch responding, “Is it because I was using a lefty bat that all my hits went to shortstop and left field?”
The NASCAR legend and two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion spent the day with his son testing out their baseball skills, but Brexton is already following in his father’s footsteps as a young race car driver.
After the father-son visit, the Reds posted pictures from the trip on X with the caption: “NASCAR driver Kyle Busch and his son made a pit stop in Goodyear to take BP🏁.”
Busch’s 2025 NASCAR Season So Far
On the track, Busch has remained winless since 2023. His last NASCAR Cup Series victory came on June 4 of that year at the Enjoy Illinois 300, where he secured his third win of the 2023 season.
The Richard Childress Racing driver has started the 2025 NASCAR season in better form. Fans have noticed an improvement in Busch’s performance at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), where he led for 42 laps. Despite having a slower car than other top teams, he still managed to secure a top-five finish.
Busch’s fans are hoping for more podium finishes this season. His next race will be at the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 16, in which fans will be hoping for another top-five finish — or better.
