Legendary YouTuber MrBeast Offers Support to Frankie Muniz After Emotional NASCAR Confession

Life can really hit you hard sometimes, even when you’re a Hollywood star-turned-race car driver like Frankie Muniz.

The ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ actor we all grew up watching is now trying to make a name for himself in NASCAR. And he’s not just cruising around either. Muniz has been grinding it out in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, taking on some serious competition. He started the 2025 season at Daytona with a bang, finishing 10th, his season best yet.

But unfortunately, that high didn’t last long. The next few races haven’t been so kind. Since Daytona, he hasn’t cracked the top 20 yet, with no top 10 or top 5 finishes, and also has three DNFs (Did Not Finish).

Frankie Muniz Gets Real on Social Media

Recently, Muniz took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and got honest with his fans. He admitted he’s been hitting a mental and emotional low. He wrote, “If I’m being 100% honest… Mentally/emotionally I may be at a new low. Just wanted to say it out loud.”

Between the stress of racing and filming a reboot of Malcolm in the Middle, he has had an extremely difficult time. Muniz is not new to racing either. He’s been hustling in ARCA, even grabbing a top 5 finish in Michigan last year. He also ran in the 2009 IMSA Atlantic Championship and finished fourth.

MrBeast Steps Up With Heartfelt Support

Known for giving away houses, cars, and even islands, popular YouTuber MrBeast, aka Jimmy Donaldson, showed that he had some kindness to offer, too. He saw Muniz’s emotional post and jumped in with some support. He extended a simple, kind reply that said, “Been there, it will fade and make the highs feel that much better.”

And just like that, fans from all over followed his lead. People flooded Muniz’s timeline with love, encouragement, and throwbacks to his Malcolm in the Middle days. It was honestly so wholesome, and the post from the actor has already received over 34000 likes.

It’s moments like these that remind us why mental health matters so much. Doesn’t matter how famous you are or how fast your car is—we all hit tough spots. What matters is who’s there to pick you up.

Muniz might be down right now, but with a support system like this, I’d bet on him bouncing back soon. The season’s still young, and maybe his next post will be about crossing the finish line in the top 10 again.
