Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin know how to build a team. Just look at 23XI Racing.
From Bubba Wallace, who’s been steady all season and sits 10th in points, to Tyler Reddick, who brought home the regular-season title and took the team to its first Championship 4. And now, they’ve got the hottest young name in trucks: Corey Heim.
Heim’s dominated the Craftsman Truck Series in 2025. He’s already grabbed four wins and leads the points standings, even though Nashville slipped through his fingers, again. That’s four times this year he’s turned a pole into something other than a win.
But before he chases redemption at Michigan in the Truck Series, he’s making a surprise stop.
Michael Jordan’s Development Driver Corey Heim Set To Race in ARCA
Heim’s having everything he could have hoped for in 2025. Be it dominating in the Truck Series or getting one step closer to his NASCAR Cup Series future. This year, 23XI Racing signed him up as a developmental driver, giving him a few Cup Series starts. Hopefully, we’ll see him running full-time soon with the top dogs.
While all this was expected, even Heim mustn’t have expected to return to the ARCA Series this year, where he hasn’t set foot since 2022. However, the series’ top team, Venturini Motorsports, needs him to fill in for Jake Finch. Finch is apparently not feeling well enough to pilot the #25 car.

Heim’s Time at Michigan International Speedway starts earlier than expected with the ARCA race. He might not have driven a race there for three years, but it shouldn’t be tough given his prowess.
When he last raced full-time in ARCA, Heim made 43 starts in the ARCA Menards Series, finishing 41 races in the top 10. He even won seven pole starts and on nine occasions visited victory lane. If you recall, he was inches away from a championship but finished as a runner-up to Ty Gibbs in 2021.
In the race, Heim is starting in P3, behind ARCA star, Brenden “Butterbean” Queen, in pole, and Isabella Robusto in P2. Heim is a favorite to win, given his experience and form. It won’t be easy to beat ARCA points leader Queen. He’s won Daytona and Kansas this season and would like to add a third to the list. Let’s see how the race unfolds.
