Lewis Hamilton Breaks Silence on Ferrari’s Struggles With Shocking F1 Title Prediction

Ferrari’s 2025 Formula 1 season has been disappointing, but Lewis Hamilton is refusing to give up on the Scuderia yet.

The seven-time world champion joined the Scuderia this year and has publicly expressed that the iconic Italian team will definitely improve in the coming season.

A Tough Weekend for Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari in Singapore

The Singapore Grand Prix was another frustrating weekend for Ferrari, where Hamilton finished eighth after a late penalty for multiple track violations caused by severe brake issues. On the other hand, his teammate Charles Leclerc also faced similar problems and crossed the line in sixth place.

Ferrari’s SF-25 continues to struggle against its rivals, leaving the Scuderia without a single Grand Prix win so far this season. However, Hamilton remains optimistic about what Ferrari can achieve in the near future.

“I’m looking at the positives on track,” he said. “The media headlines only tell one story, one where we don’t get things quite right, or things don’t go our way. But what I have been focused on over the past few months is the other story. The one about how this team responds when things go wrong. How we get back up, and we go again.”

Hamilton highlighted that even small gains and learning from mistakes are steps forward,Ā  saying, “Yesterday was the perfect example. We got the strategy right, but the brake issue set us back just when momentum was building. So now we get back in the factory, learn from this last race, and plan for the next one.”

He continued, “I’m really proud of this team and want to help deliver the results they and the tifosi deserve. I see the progress we are making and the hard work that goes into every race but this is Ferrari. Progress alone is not enough.”

    Hamilton Looking Towards 2026

Hamilton’s optimism goes beyond the current season as Ferrari is already focusing on 2026, which is expected to bring major changes to the car regulations. New rules for engines and aerodynamics could give the Scuderia a fresh start, and Hamilton believes that with proper preparations, the Maranello outfit can be back in championship contention.

“To achieve greatness we need to go further, be better,” he said. “There is so much we can achieve together and if we can build on our successes and change the things we need to, I fully believe we will get there.”

Off the track, Hamilton has also faced personal challenges last week, including the loss of his dog Roscoe.

While Mercedes and McLaren have outperformed Ferrari in 2025, Hamilton’s faith in the team is clear. Fans will now watch closely to see if the Scuderia can match their star driver’s confidence and improve going into the next season.
