Leah Pruett Shares Adorable Moment With Son Dominic While Cheering On Tony Stewart at Indy 800

Life may be moving fast, but for Leah Pruett, it’s all about soaking in the little things lately—like race day cuddles with her baby boy while cheering on her husband, Tony Stewart. And honestly, it doesn’t get much cuter than that.

Over the weekend, Pruett turned heads on Instagram when she shared a sweet peek into her family’s outing at the Indy 800, a wild race event hosted by Cleetus McFarland at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. But instead of jumping behind the wheel, she was in full mom mode, soaking up every second with her little son while Stewart hit the track.

A Special Family Moment at the Track

Pruett, who took a break from NHRA Top Fuel racing last year after announcing her pregnancy, is fully embracing this new chapter of life. She gave birth to Dominic James Stewart in November 2024, just hours before the NHRA Finals in Pomona. Ever since, it’s been all baby giggles, bottles, and proud mom moments. This time around, she brought her son to watch his dad race—that melted hearts across the internet.

In her Instagram caption, she thanked former NHRA driver Brandon Bernstein for hosting them during the race, likely in a VIP suite or private spot with a great view of the action. Pruett’s son was just as excited to be there as his dad was to race, though he probably didn’t mind the extra attention and hugs.

One heartwarming clip even showed Stewart kissing his son after the race, followed by a clip of a little playful moment as he held his adorable son up in the air, back in their home.
Her caption was, “Indy life lately. Thanks @brandonbernstein1 for letting us have a comfy spot to watch Smoke Daddy do his thing at the @cleetusandcars Indy 800. We had a blast!”

Leah Pruett’s Journey From Top Fuel Champion to Full-Time Mom

Before motherhood took the wheel, Pruett was a force in the drag racing world. She has 12 NHRA Top Fuel wins under her belt. After moving into Top Fuel in 2013, her breakout moment came in 2016 with her first win. Her 2023 season was her best yet, finishing third in the standings before stepping away.

Now, her husband has taken her spot. The three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion has jumped into her Top Fuel dragster and is already making headlines, including grabbing his first Top Fuel win at the Las Vegas 4-Wide Nationals earlier this year.

Even with Stewart now back in the spotlight, it’s clear Pruett is still the star of this story—cheering from the sidelines, baby in her arms, and a smile on her face that says it all. Racing may be in her blood, but right now, family is where her heart is.
