As the racing world turns its attention to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the prestigious Indy 500, an unexpected yet heartwarming partnership has emerged – this time involving Kyle Larson’s seven-year-old daughter, Audrey, and his Arrow McLaren team. While Larson was focused on the final practice session for Sunday’s 200-lap open-wheel classic marathon, Audrey made her own mark by selling handmade bracelets at the Arrow McLaren trailer.
Kyle Larson’s Daughter Adds a Personal Touch to Indy 500 Weekend With McLaren
In a daring move that has been attempted by a handful of drivers in history, 2021 Cup Series champion Kyle Larson is gearing up for his second “Double” attempt. He is set to tackle the Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day – a grueling 1,100-mile test of endurance reserved for only the boldest drivers.
Although the HMS ace gave it a shot last year, inclement weather played spoilsport. He competed on the iconic 2.5-mile speedway at IMS in 2024, finishing 18th after a pit road speeding penalty derailed a strong run from fifth place. However, a four-hour rain delay at Indy caused him to miss the start of the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte. By the time he flew to North Carolina, the rain had also paused the Cup race, but not soon enough.
He never got the chance to climb into his No. 5 HMS Chevy, and his attempt went down in flames. This time, however, the racer is determined to make it, and he’s not stressing about it either.
While Larson turned 65 laps during Friday’s Carb Day practice, posting the 26th fastest time on the leaderboard with a top lap of 221.779 mph, it was his adorable daughter who stole the show, charming fans by selling $3 bracelets at the Arrow McLaren trailer.

Prominent racing reporter Jeff Gluck shared the news online, posting a picture of the young entrepreneur at her stall with a caption, “Audrey Larson is selling some bracelets if anyone is near the Arrow McLaren merch trailer.”
The youngster even had a clear combo deal on offer—$5 for two bracelets, a bargain no one could resist. Earlier this month, Audrey celebrated her seventh birthday with an exhibition game of baseball and pottery painting. She is one of Larson’s three children—the eldest son, Owen, and the youngest daughter, Cooper Donald.
That said, the Californian will start Sunday’s Indy 500 from the 19th spot following Team Penske drivers Josef Newgarden and Will Power’s violation, which sent them to the back of the grid.
