Kaden Honeycutt Teases Major NASCAR Truck Series Move with Cryptic Hint

After a thrilling and heartbreaking finale weekend in Phoenix, as the dust settles on the current NASCAR season, many in the sport are already gearing up for what is to come next. While some cuts, like that of Denny Hamlin’s, are deeper than others and take longer to heal, most NASCAR figures are en route to their next chapter.

And among them is Truck Series star Kaden Honeycutt, or at least it appears so. Following a successful season, the 22-year-old is gearing up for his next move. In his latest post, Honeycutt teased a major move, prompting fans to rumble with questions.

A Glimpse At Kaden Honeycutt’s 2025 NASCAR Season

Honeycutt’s run in the season this year was a textbook example of how far consistency week after week can get a driver. Despite having no wins to his name, Honeycutt had 14 top-10 and four top-5 finishes in the season, placing him third in the final points table.

His points cushion and consistency also sailed him through to the finale at Phoenix as one of the final four contenders. While Honeycutt gave his all on D-Day, he ultimately fell short of winning the title.

Even before Corey Heim’s seven-wide final charge that landed him the championship tag, Honeycutt was unlikely to land the championship title. Despite finishing third, the 22-year-old’s run was nothing short of impressive. His performance also got him on the radar of several big players in the sport.

Honeycutt’s numbers had fans wondering if he would take a leap to another NASCAR division or change teams in the Truck Series itself. While there were several speculations and rumors about the possibilities, there was no confirmation from the driver himself until recently.

Honeycutt’s Latest Announcement Tease And The Fan Speculation

Yesterday, Honeycutt took to his X handle to announce to his fans. Though Honeycutt began by stating that it was about time he made a big announcement. However, midway through the tweet, he changed his mind and declared it would be better to wait just a little bit longer. He wrote:

“Happy Sunday, everyone! I think it’s time I can finally announce this… Actually, you know what? It might have to wait just a little longer.”

Now, though Honeycutt’s post did not precisely indicate a single possibility, fans were quick to connect the dots and come up with the most likely outcome. A fan deemed the 22-year-old  would take over the No. 11 Toyota for Tricon Garage.

“That I [Honeycutt] will be driving the #11 for Tricon garage beginning in 2026 – finished it for you,” wrote one fan.

The No. 11 Tricon Garage truck was piloted by Heim this season, who clinched the title. While there are several speculations about Heim’s future in the sport, like Honeycutt, he, too, has given no official confirmation.

So, it remains to be seen if Honeycutt actually ends up driving for Tricon Garage in the upcoming season, and if so, where Heim will stand in the picture.
