Chase Briscoe Drops Blunt 3-Word Reaction to NASCAR’s Motivating Kansas Review

Chase Briscoe‘s season so far has been full of ups and downs. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has shown his aggressive driving style on several instances this year. Despite showing promise, his performance chart has spikes in both directions, and the racer is yet to bag a win this season. In his debut year with Joe Gibbs Racing, Briscoe has secured the fourth position four times in 12 starts.

After his underwhelming runs at Talladega and Texas, Briscoe managed yet another fourth-place finish at Kansas. After the race, the No. 19 driver reposted a tweet with a caption that accurately described his progress.

Briscoe’s Kansas Outing and His Reaction

Briscoe was among the handful of drivers who had issues with his tires in the practice. This led to last-minute adjustments to his car, which made him run at the rear during the start. After an early caution, Briscoe opted for a pit stop on lap 9. Although the JGR driver was not running among the lap leaders from the very beginning, he maintained a consistent position in the middle of the pack, finishing Stage 1 in the 17th position.

Stage 2 wasn’t very different for Briscoe either, he again struggled to move past the middle and into the top 10. He finished the second Stage in the 17th spot too. He moved up the ladder in the last 50-odd laps of the race. On lap 220, he was running in the sixth position when he stepped on the gas to move up two spots. After this, he pretty much maintained his position and finished fourth yet again in the season.

A tweet that gained attention was a video posted by NASCAR about Briscoe.

The JGR racer reposted it on his handle and wrote, “Little by little.”

His retweet gained him support from several of his fans who were all eager to see Briscoe win in a Joe Gibbs Racing shirt.

After the race, the No. 19 driver even tweeted about his bond with the fourth position this year. He said: “P4, for the 4th time this year. That’s a lot of fours. Getting better every week.”

Briscoe’s Season So Far

Briscoe’s start to the season was strong. The racer secured the pole position for the opening race at Daytona. He maintained his stance for most of the race and ended up finishing in fourth position. Although he got into some trouble in post-race inspections, his penalty was revoked after an appeal by his team.

In his next two outings at Atlanta and CoTA, he finished outside the top 10 with 21st and 14th positions, respectively.

Then came Phoenix, where Briscoe was unable to finish the race and landed in the 35th spot. At Las Vegas, he finished 17th after starting in the 24th spot.

Briscoe turned the tables at Homestead-Miami with his second 4th place finish. Although he did not lead any laps in the race, he was quick and impressive throughout the contest. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver maintained his momentum in Martinsville as well. Starting at the 11th position, he finished 9th and bagged 34 points.

Darlington and Bristol were again two extreme ends for Briscoe, where, on one weekend, he grabbed the 28th spot and came in fourth on the next weekend. After his third top 5 spot, Briscoe dropped back to a 15th finish at Talladega and, following that, a 27th spot at Texas.
