Brad Keselowski is a name everyone knows in NASCAR; he’s a Cup Series champ, a consistent contender, and a driver who isn’t afraid to speak his mind. But lately, it’s not just the No. 6 Ford on Sundays that’s got his attention — it’s something bigger. Something long-term.
Brad Keselowski’s Vision: A Legacy Built One Series at a Time
Keselowski, now a co-owner and full-time driver for RFK Racing, isn’t rushing anything. He takes it slow, makes it count, and grows the right way.
“I would love to do all three, to be honest. We have other things that we’re trying to accomplish first,” he said recently while discussing his long-term ownership plans. “We have to eat the elephant one bite at a time. But yes, certainly aspirations to be a part of the organization running IMSA trucks in Cup Series at a very high level and competing for wins in championships,” he added.

Since becoming co-owner of RFK Racing in 2022, Keselowski has slowly turned the ship around. It hasn’t always been easy. When he joined, RFK hadn’t won a Cup race in years. The team that once dominated the early 2000s was a shadow of its former self. But Keselowski’s vision was clear: bring back the fight, and maybe even go beyond the Cup Series while doing it.
In a recent chat with Dustin Long, he opened up about that plan. He said he’d love to see RFK field teams in the Truck, Xfinity Series, and IMSA, not just to participate but to win championships. He intends to build a place/team where young drivers can grow, learn, and someday become Cup stars.
RFK Racing Team’s Spark Is Back
However, Keselowski’s not just dreaming. He’s definitely working for it, and Michigan proved that.
Last weekend, RFK Racing pulled off something it hadn’t done in nearly a decade. All three of their drivers — Keselowski himself, Ryan Preece, and Chris Buescher — finished inside the top 10. That’s the first time since 2016 that RFK Racing drivers have managed that. And that wasn’t just a fluke. It was momentum.

Buescher came very close to the win, finishing second. Preece landed in ninth after a clean day, and Keselowski wrapped things up in 10th, collecting his 16th career top-10 at the Michigan oval. The whole team was happy and felt like a sign of more to come.
Sure, Keselowski knows there’s still a mountain to climb. Owning teams in the Truck or Xfinity Series is a different game. OEM control, sponsorship struggles, and different driver rules make it a tough road. But he’s not scared of the hard work. He’s done it before — and he’s doing it again, just from a different seat this time.
