The Hobby: Which NFL Rookies Should Be the Most Popular Trading Cards To Collect in 2024?

Using the Pro Football Network Mock Draft Simulator, we've learned which athletes are set to be the most popular rookies. The top of the list may surprise you.

Even before they’re drafted, with Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals syncing up with current college athletes, avid trading card collectors have targeted certain athletes to collect. Though largely a crapshoot, the most commonly collected players are the skill players and most notable top players college football had to offer.

Using the Pro Football Network Mock Draft Simulator, what if we looked at which players are currently the most popular among fans of every NFL franchise to determine who you should be collecting this offseason?

Ranking the Most Popular 2024 NFL Draft Selections

Before we get to the most popular 2024 NFL Draft selections, we have to explain how we got to this point. The 2024 NFL Draft is more than two months away, but trading card companies signed athletes as brand ambassadors as early as two years ago, and you’ve seen their cards appear for a handful of seasons now.

These offerings, though fun to collect and get a good glimpse of a potential star NFL player before their time in the league, aren’t technically rookie cards. They won’t be rookie cards until they’re drafted into the NFL by a specific franchise.

So, once they’re drafted, which rookies should you be on the lookout for? We take to the Pro Football Network Mock Draft Simulator to see which players are currently the most drafted in a variety of circumstances.

All data comes from the PFN Mock Draft Simulator based on actual picks from users of the MDS itself.
