The first meeting between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers since the 2024 World Series promises to be an exciting one for baseball fans. Although the Dodgers won the trophy in five games to end that fall classic, both teams have seen significant change since then.
This rematch is sure to be a must-see game because both teams are now in the heart of the playoff races. Thankfully, there are many ways to watch it live.

The three-game set begins on Friday, May 30, at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. First pitch is scheduled for 10:10 p.m. ET and will stream exclusively on Apple TV+ as part of its Friday Night Baseball lineup.
The series continues on Saturday, May 31, at 7:15 p.m. ET on FOX, with streaming available through Fubo, and wraps up on Sunday, June 1, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and Fubo. All three games will also be broadcast via SiriusXM radio.

Yankees on Fire, Looking for Redemption
The Yankees, who have won 16 of their previous 20 games, come to Los Angeles on a scorching winning streak. Despite serious injuries to their pitching rotation, New York has maintained their dominance, sitting at 35-20. Max Fried, an offseason addition, has stepped up significantly and emerged as a top Cy Young contender. He is anticipated to start the series’ first game.
Pitching probables for the Yankees/Dodgers series:
⚾️ Friday: LHP Max Fried (7-0, 1.29) vs. RHP Tony Gonsolin (2-1, 4.68)
⚾️ Saturday: RHP Will Warren (3-2, 4.09) vs. RHP Landon Knack (2-2, 5.22)
⚾️ Sunday: TBA vs. RHP Yoshinobu Yamamoto (6-3, 1.97) — could be Ryan Yarbrough…

Aaron Judge, who has established his rhythm at the plate, has also been a major contributor to the Bronx Bombers’ recent run of MVP-caliber play. This Yankees lineup is dangerous and much more coherent than the one that labored against the Dodgers last October, even without Juan Soto, who left in free agency to join the Mets.
Dodgers Lead NL West Despite Injuries
The Dodgers, on the other hand, are dealing with their own difficulties. Los Angeles is currently 34-22 and has been forced to rely largely on their offense due to the absence of many important arms. Roki Sasaki, Blake Snell, and Tyler Glasnow are the star pitchers to be placed on the disabled list.
Nevertheless, the Dodgers have experienced hardship before. L.A. continues to be one of the league’s most potent offensive teams, led by Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani. This rematch is significant not only because of the teams’ postseason records but also because of their present positions.
The Dodgers are struggling to keep up with injury setbacks, while the Yankees are demonstrating that they are more than a one-man show.
For baseball fans, this is the type of high-profile game that best represents the sport. Two recognizable franchises. Two enormous marketplaces. And three primetime games in Los Angeles under the lights. This is a series you won’t want to miss, regardless of whether you’re watching on SiriusXM, FOX, ESPN2, Fubo, or Apple TV+.
