Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Paul Skenes’ girlfriend Olivia Dunne’s transformation from exceptional gymnast to worldwide celebrity has been quite remarkable. She has become more self-assured, influential, and a leader during the last three years. Her fan base has grown dramatically in tandem with her achievements.
In 2023, the newly retired NCAA gymnast made her “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit” debut in photos taken along the Puerto Rican coast. In 2024, she was back in the magazine with pictures from Portugal. This year, Dunne was wearing bikinis in Bermuda.
On Father’s Day, Olivia Dunne Shares a Message for Her Father
Dunne took to her Instagram account and her Instagram Stories to showcase her love and affection for her father David Dunne with an adorable picture. In the photo no longer on her Stories’ location, it shows Dunne in a stunning blue dress stepping out of a car with the help of her dad holding her hand.
The caption read, “happy Father’s Day to the GOAT… Always giving me a hand when I need it most. I love you so much! 🩵🩵🩵”.
This past weekend, Dunne flew to the Midwest to support LSU at the Men’s College World Series. She even managed to support Skenes with her “fit” even though he wasn’t playing.
The two athletes first crossed paths at LSU, where Skenes played baseball and the three-time “SI Swimsuit” model was a member of the women’s gymnastics team.
Dunne, 22, is starting a new chapter in her life after ending her collegiate gymnastics career earlier this year. But she still supports LSU and Skenes. Dunne posted pictures from LSU’s victory over Arkansas at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska, on social media on Saturday, June 14.
The New Jersey native went all out for the thrilling day, wearing a custom-cropped jersey with Skenes’s name and number on the back while traveling with several college pals.
Skenes’ alma mater and current Major League Baseball team were listed in Dunne’s top. She effortlessly pulled off the ideal WAG look for Game Day by pairing the amazing jersey with tortoiseshell sunglasses and high-waisted light-wash denim.
She posted a selfie on Instagram Stories with the caption, “party in the front, business in the back 🫡”. Dunne posted another glimpse of her attire following LSU’s victory on Saturday, writing, “I am so happy geaux tigers 🐯,” as she cheered with her arms raised at the field.

Reports are that Skenes will be there when his alma mater plays the UCLA Bruins in the College World Series winner’s semifinals on Monday.
Skenes gets an off day to travel to Omaha while Pittsburgh will wrap up a series against the Chicago Cubs.
