Both Lindor and the New York Mets are Having a Stellar Campaign in 2025

Lindor and the Mets kicked off the 2025 MLB campaign on a high and have continued to manage their formidable form as the midseason break fast approaches. The 31-year-old Puerto Rican slugger has a .282 batting average with 14 home runs, 38 RBIs, and an .836 OPS in 66 games this season. He has compiled 75 hits in 266 at-bats, out of which 12 have been extra-base hits.

Lindor is projecting over 30 home runs and more than 90 RBIs as he progresses towards becoming an All-Star for the fifth time in his MLB career. The Mets are currently 43-24 for the season and acquire the top spot in the NL East division. They are on a five-game winning streak and have now won back-to-back series against the Colorado Rockies and the Washington Nationals since splitting the four-game series, 2-2, against the Los Angeles Dodgers in LA.

The Mets swept the Rockies in the previous series and are now just one game shy of sweeping the Nationals, with the series finale of the three-game series due to be played on Thursday at Citi Field.

  1. What are you talking about? The Mets did not “lose” the series against the LA Dodgers…they split the series in LA, after taking 2 out of 3 from the Dodgers at Citifield, ergo, they’ve now taken 4 out of 7 against them in 2025.
