Defiant Yankees Hitting Coach Dismisses Concerns as Offensive Collapse Sparks Fan Panic

Jazz Chisholm Jr. ended the New York Yankees’ 30-inning scoreless streak with a home run on Wednesday night, but it wasn’t enough to snap their losing skid.

The Los Angeles Angels held on for a 3-2 win, securing the series in the Bronx. Meanwhile, the Yankees have now scored just seven runs over their last seven games and dropped their sixth straight contest.

Following their fifth loss, Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Cody Bellinger, and Paul Goldschmidt reportedly called a players-only meeting. While manager Aaron Boone told reporters the meeting was open-door and nothing out of the ordinary, the Yankees’ recent struggles at the plate suggest otherwise.

James Rowson Is Not Worried About His Players So Neither Should the Fans

While Yankees fans may panic that their favorite team and their favorite players are playing properly, the hitting coach of the team, James Rowson, is not at all worried.

According to the New York Daily News, Rowson said, “I don’t really feel like there’s any major red flags in my mind in terms of what they’re doing. There’s no worry from my side. I don’t feel any panic or worry from our guys.”

Even the general manager of the team is not worried at all about their recent slump. According to an article by the New York Post, Cashman said “You’ve got to stay consistent with routines. Again, the storm, hopefully, will pass sooner than later. We don’t take any of that for granted.

I’m not gonna say this isn’t a headache to deal with. It is. You want to win every game, but that’s not possible. You certainly don’t want to be in this bad a stretch, either. That’s no fun. As of late, we’ve hit a rough spot. We’ll fight through it.”

The Yankees managed just three hits against right-hander Jack Kochanowicz and four Angels relievers, including two solo home runs and a ground ball from Bellinger that struck teammate Trent Grisham as he was racing to second base.

The lackluster offensive showing was another low point in what’s become a troubling stretch for New York. As they wrap up the series against the Angels, the Yankees are searching for answers and reinforcements.

With the trade deadline approaching, front office discussions are expected to intensify. The team could explore upgrades to inject life into a lineup that has grown increasingly inconsistent outside of Judge.

Given the recent slump and their aspirations of contending deep into October, addressing the offense may become a top priority. Whether it’s adding a contact hitter, another power bat, or simply a spark plug to shake things up, the Yankees might not have the luxury of standing pat much longer.
