Former New York Yankees infielder Alex Rodriguez has been dating Canadian fitness trainer and transformational expert Jaclyn Cordeiro for over two years now. The couple had sparked dating rumors in 2022 when Cordeiro was helping A-Rod shed those extra pounds he had put on post his retirement from the big leagues in 2016.
The rumor was officially confirmed only when Rodriguez shared an image on Instagram consisting of himself, Cordeiro, and both his daughters, Natasha and Ella, during the Christmas season in December 2022.
The Canadian fitness model is a routine-oriented person who likes to practice a well-curated routine involving fitness training and leading a healthy lifestyle by incorporating a nutritional diet plan and well-thought-out fitness practices.

On Wednesday morning, Cordeiro shared an inspirational quote on her Instagram story highlighting the importance of creating a routine and how it helps to overcome various problems throughout the day. The caption in the post read, “Creating a Routine: A consistent daily routine reduces decision fatigue and builds habits, which strengthen discipline over time.”
Cordeiro also carried out an Elite 1:1 training session as a part of her marquee JACFIT program for one of her clients on Wednesday. She shared a video from the session on social media and tagged it with an empowering women supporting women caption.
On May 31, Cordeiro shared yet another Instagram post that talked about women’s empowerment and the role of a successful woman to lead the path and uplift others. The caption on the post read, “There’s nothing more powerful than a woman who knows her worth, speaks her truth, and uplifts others along the way. Here’s to the strength, grace, and unstoppable fire within every woman.”

While Cordeiro is busy expanding her reach in the fitness world through her JACFIT and 5AM Club programs, A-Rod was busy celebrating his team, the Minnesota Lynx’s, victory in a WNBA game on Tuesday night.
Rodriguez is part of the group that controls a majority stake in both the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Lynx. The group includes his business partner, Marc Lore, and some other investors, including former Google CEO Eric Schmidt.

On Tuesday, the Lynx defeated the Phoenix Mercury 88-65 to extend their winning run to 8-0 in the 2025 WNBA season. They currently hold the top spot in the Western Conference standings, and minority owner A-Rod celebrated their dominant victory from Tuesday by sharing a post on his Instagram story.
While the Timberwolves had a disappointing end to their scintillating run in the 2024-25 NBA season, Rodriguez will be hopeful that his team can consistently contend for the Western Conference crown and maybe one day bring home the ultimate glory by winning the NBA Finals.
