Gold Glove 3B Alex Bregman has been happily married to his longtime girlfriend, Reagan Elizabeth, since December 5, 2020. The couple had met each other at a group dinner in Houston, TX, in 2017. The duo quickly hit it off, and after dating for more than two years, they got married in a closed-off private ceremony that was held in Katy, TX.
The loving couple are proud parents to two kids, Knox Samuel, who was born on August 1, 2022, and Bennett Matthew Bregman, who was born on April 16. The Bregmans shifted to Boston this past offseason after Bregman signed a blockbuster three-year, $120 million contract with the Boston Red Sox.
But it is not just these four members that make up the Bregman family; the couple are also loving dog parents to a cute Golden Retriever pup named Hank, who has been with the family for years now.
Reagan Elizabeth Shares a Heartfelt Post to Celebrate Their Pet Pup’s Birthday
On Tuesday, Bregman’s wife shared a couple of Instagram stories that celebrated the couple’s pet pup, Hank’s sixth birthday. She shared a heartfelt and playful caption on one of the stories, which involved a collage of images capturing sweet moments that transpired between the couple and the cute Golden Retriever. The caption on the image read, “Our first baby who still thinks he should be an only child.”
Bregman’s wife is one of the biggest supporters of the startling third baseman’s endeavors on and off the diamond. While the couple had started to date soon after Bregman had claimed his first Fall Classic title with the Houston Astros in 2017, both Elizabeth and the couple’s elder kid, Knox, were present inside the Minute Maid Park (now called the Daikin Park) to celebrate his second World Series triumph with the Astros in 2022.
Now the kids and Bregman’s wife actively spectate the Red Sox’s home game days at Fenway Park, and Reagan even shared some delightful highlights from the ballpark to wish Bregman a happy Father’s Day. The caption on the Instagram post read, “Happy Father’s Day, @abreg_1, we love you to the moooooon!”

Alex Bregman Has Produced a Dominant Offensive Stat Line Despite Lengthy Stint on IL
Bregman started the proceedings for the 2025 MLB season with the Red Sox on a positive note. He led the roster in most of the offensive stats until he strained his quadriceps on May 22, and as a result, he was placed on the IL. He is still undergoing a rehab assignment and hasn’t recovered fully, which is hampering the Red Sox unit since they also made the trade deal for Rafael Devers.
Bregman has a .299 batting average, 11 home runs, 35 RBIs, and a .938 OPS in 51 games this season. He has registered 59 hits in 197 at-bats, including 17 doubles. The Red Sox faithful will be hopeful that their superstar 3B can recover quickly and join the roster in time to propel them towards October baseball this year.
