Alex Bregman Shares Adorable Sneak Peek of Father-Son Day Out With Knox

Boston Red Sox star 3B Alex Bregman is still on the IL with a quadriceps injury. He hasn’t played a big league game since last playing one in an intra-divisional series against the Baltimore Orioles on May 22. While Bregman works towards a full recovery, he has made the most of his time off by spending quality time with his wife and kids.

Bregman had married his longtime girlfriend, Reagan Elizabeth, in a private wedding ceremony held at her parents’ home in Katy, TX, on Dec 5, 2020. The couple welcomed their first kid, a son, Knox Samuel, on Aug 1, 2022. The Bregmans expanded by one more member after the loving couple welcomed their second child, another son, Bennett Matthew Bregman, on Apr 16.

Alex Bregman Spends Quality Time With Son Knox

On Tuesday, Bregman shared a couple of snaps from his fun little day out with his elder son, Knox. In the images, the father-son duo can be seen at a men’s salon getting haircuts.

In one of the images, Bregman can be seen sitting in a chair with his son on his lap as the barber gives the little kid a nice haircut, while his father diverts his attention by holding a phone in front of him. In the other image, the kid can be seen smiling for the camera and showing off his new haircut.

The Bregmans currently reside in Boston, MA, after the two-time World Series winner parted ways with the Houston Astros after nine long years to elect free agency post the 2024 MLB campaign. He ended up signing a three-year, $120 million deal with the Red Sox and became an active Gold Glove third baseman.

The Red Sox organization has given positive updates regarding their star slugger’s health as he continues on the path to full recovery. On Jun 19, Bregman shared an Instagram post with a caption of a fully charged battery and an evil face, which could signify that the two-time All-Star could be nearing a return to the field.

The 2019 Silver Slugger Award winner has so far produced a decent offensive stat line with the Red Sox in 2025. With a .938 OPS and .299 batting average, he has hit 11 home runs and driven in 35 runs so far in 51 games this season. A resurgent Red Sox will be hopeful that they can have their star slugger make an effective comeback soon.

Boston Red Sox Aim to Cover the Deficit at the Top in the AL East Division

The race to the playoffs is heating up even when there’s almost half a season still left to be played. The AL East division is increasingly getting competitive as the division leaders, the New York Yankees, are now just one game ahead of second-place Tampa Bay Rays and six games ahead of the fourth-place Red Sox.

The Red Sox are 40-41 for the season and are just one win shy of the .500 winning percentage mark. They will aim to take the series finale against the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday before heading back home to kick off a six-game homestand.
