New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole and his wife, Amy, stole the spotlight at a star-studded gathering to celebrate Carlos Rodon’s wife, Ashley, and Yankees CF Cody Bellinger’s 30th birthday. Although Bellinger’s birthday is still a couple of weeks away, the Yankees ballplayers clubbed both birthdays for a grand celebration.
The entire Yankees roster and their respective spouses/girlfriends attended the party. Cole rocked a complete white ensemble while his wife wore a green dress. The birthday girl wore an elegant, shimmering purple dress, while Bellinger wore a black shirt with matching pants.

On Friday, Cole’s wife took to social media to share some snaps from the dual birthday bash on Thursday. The Yankees had an off day on Thursday as they returned home to kick off a three-game series against the Oakland Athletics. The ballplayers and their partners celebrated OF Bellinger’s birthday alongside Rodon’s wife. The caption on Amy’s Instagram post read, “Happy 30th, Ashley & Cody!”

Boston Red Sox star 3B Alex Bregman’s wife, Reagan, and Rodon’s wife were quick to notice the celebratory post by Cole’s wife and reacted with heartfelt comments on it. Their comments read, “Hottest and best friend ever!” “OK 🔥.”
Even Rodon’s wife, who celebrated her 30th birthday on Thursday, shared some delightful highlights from the birthday bash. In the images, she could be seen sharing frames with her husband and girlfriends, while in some, she stood adjacent to Bellinger as they both cut their separate birthday cakes.

The Yankees Will Aim to Bounce Back From Their Series Defeat Against the Reds
It was a difficult outing for the incumbent AL pennant holders at the Great American Ball Park against the Cincinnati Reds in the mid-week series. They lost the series’ first two games as the Reds outscored them 11-5. The Bombers regrouped ahead of the series finale on Wednesday, and the batters ran hot to lead the away team to a 7-1 victory, avoiding a series sweep.
Now, the Yankees are playing the A’s at home in Yankee Stadium and have already taken the series opener by a shutout victory of 3-0 on Friday night. They will be hopeful of making easy work of their AL West rivals before heading to Toronto to take on the Toronto Blue Jays in a four-game blockbuster intra-divisional series.
