New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge is having a thrilling year on and off the diamond. While his offensive production at the plate has been consistently exemplary, the two-time AL MVP had started off the new year with a great deal of joy after welcoming his first child with wife Samantha Bracksieck.
Samantha gave birth to a daughter on January 27. The loving couple named their daughter Nora and have been very private in terms of revealing the baby’s face or sharing any of her pictures online.
On February 4, Judge shared an Instagram post announcing the birth of his firstborn with his wife, Samantha. The caption on the post read, “1/27/25 Nora Rose Judge 🌸 What an incredible week it’s been; I can’t wait for the memories the three of us make.”

Aaron Judge Reflects on Embracing Fatherhood for the First Time

The official Instagram page of Polo Ralph Lauren shared a video where Judge narrated his initial few months of experience being a father.

In the video, Judge elaborated, “Being a dad has been just an incredible experience. It’s been a whirlwind. It’s kind of been an out-of-body experience. I love my wife so much and care for her, and she is such a trooper and saint in everything she’s done.”
He continued, “But, you know, now when I look at my daughter Nora, I have to pinch myself every single day in the morning when I wake up and see her, and every time I kiss her before I leave, it’s just such a different type of love and a different type of experience. Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there.”
Aaron Judge is Projecting Remarkable Numbers on the Offense in 2025
While Judge is enjoying all of his fatherly duties with Nora and being a rock-solid support for his wife, Samantha, the six-time All-Star is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to become a three-time MVP and maybe win that elusive Commissioner’s Trophy for the Bronx Bombers this year since they last won it in 2009.
Judge has a .391 batting average, with 21 home runs, 50 RBIs, and a 1.248 OPS in 58 games this season. The 33-year-old righty slugger is projected to hit over 55 home runs and register more than 130 RBIs this campaign. He looks well on his way to becoming a seven-time All-Star and winning the AL MVP for the third time in his MLB career.
