Travis Hunter is the Jacksonville Jaguars’ newest wide receiver and defensive back. The two-for-one threat was the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Hunter has been in the news for all sorts of different reasons in recent days, most recently, when a video of him at practice went viral. Hunter is the current Heisman trophy winner, so it’s no surprise to see him confident and loving every second of his NFL journey.

Micah Parsons’ Brother Backs Up Travis Hunter
Even with Micah Parsons on the Dallas Cowboys, his brother, Terrence, isn’t afraid to speak up about the Hunter situation. Hunter recently got married and went straight into action as part of the Jaguars’ OTAs.
With a vast difference in Hunter’s body language and presence compared to the Jaguars 2024 first-round pick and WR1, Brian Thomas Jr., fans believe that Hunter is already too cocky and way too far ahead of himself.
“Everyone is different, honestly. You want his upbeat energy at practice, you know he enjoys being there, and when it’s time to lock in, he gonna lock in this energy, makes practice enjoyable for the guys he around, let Brian stay locked him, that’s his process, Travis has his.” Terrence Parsons Jr. said.

The video shared on social media shows Hunter dancing across the field, but Hunter isn’t necessarily doing anything wrong in the video. While his antics could give him a bad first impression or make it seem like he isn’t giving his full effort, these are voluntary team workouts, after all.
Brian Thomas Jr. has yet to speak publicly about the 2024 Chuck Bednarik and Fred Biletnikoff award winner, meaning it’s only fan speculation that there is animosity between the two. Thomas Jr. and Hunter have their own ways of acting on the field.
While Hunter has yet to see any real-time action in the NFL, he could be in for a rude awakening that could change how he presents himself once he finally makes his debut. For now, Hunter will do the only thing he knows how to do while playing football: have fun.
