Selecting a quarterback in the NFL Draft is anything but an exact science. Several teams have missed at the position with valuable selections in recent years.

Therefore, Pro Football Network’s Adam H. Beasley makes the case that the Dolphins should instead focus on signing Tagovailoa to a contract extension this offseason. Miami can’t afford to throw darts and find a new quarterback when Tagovailoa is more than capable at the position.

Following the departure of former starting defensive tackle Christian Wilkins in free agency, Miami has a huge hole to fill in the middle of the defensive line. The Dolphins have consistently been linked to the top defensive tackle prospects in this year’s draft class.

Pro Football Network’s Joe Broback actually has Miami trading back from No. 21 in his latest mock draft, while still landing one of the best defensive tackles in the 2024 class.

Tennessee WR Ramel Keyton Has Pre-Draft Visit With Dolphins

As pre-draft visits come to an end with the 2024 NFL Draft less than one week away, Miami recently hosted a potential Day 3 target.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Dolphins hosted Tennessee wide receiver Ramel Keyton on a pre-draft visit.

Keyton is projected to be selected on Day 3 or potentially go undrafted, and would add much-needed size to Miami’s wide receiver room.

Purdue S Sanoussi Kane Visits Miami Prior to 2024 NFL Draft

According to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, Miami hosted another potential Day 3 undrafted free agent target.

Purdue safety Sanoussi Kane reportedly had a pre-draft visit with the Dolphins. Kane enjoyed the best season of his career at Purdue in 2023, finishing with 79 total tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack and one forced fumble.
