Most NFL players just return to their usual team facilities for OTAs and mandatory minicamp, but not the Los Angeles Rams. They instead partnered with the Hawaii Tourism Authority and hosted “Mauicamp” at War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku on the island of Maui.
Stafford, like many other Rams players and coaches, used this as an opportunity to not just prepare for the 2025 season, but to inspire the youths who live in the 50th state.

There were more than 2,000 fans in attendance for practice, and kids lined up to high-five their favorite players as they came out onto the field. However, it wasn’t all about PR. After the team’s Tuesday practice, the Rams hosted girls’ flag football and boys’ tackle football clinics.
Stafford’s wife, Kelly, shared a photo of the former Super Bowl champion coaching the girls in flag football.
“Girl dad turned coach out in Maui,” Kelly said on her Instagram Story post. “Pretty awesome to see the Rams end their offseason like this..it’s about more than football.”
Stafford also shared his excitement over the opportunity to meet new fans on the Valley Isle.
“Obviously, this is far away from home for us, but it’s a unique opportunity to show the kids and the people of this area what we do and be able to interact with them and hopefully inspire some young Puka Nacuas,” Stafford said. “There’s some guys running around out here that can get it done.”
Kelly has been a polarizing figure over the past few years. She hosts the “The Morning After with Kelly Stafford and Hank” podcast and has been quite outspoken about Stafford’s career and his time with the Rams. However, no one questions her loyalty to him or their family.
That family has made Stafford a girl dad indeed, four times over. Their daughters include: eight-year-old twins Sawyer and Chandler, six-year-old Hunter and almost five-year-old Tyler.
Kelly has been very open about the couple’s struggles with conceiving naturally and their IVF journey. She has said that she hopes by talking about it on her podcast, it will help normalize having the difficult conversations that surround infertility.
Rams Trade the Gridiron for Giving Back to Maui Communities
While on Maui, Rams players gave back in other ways. This included meeting with families, the Maui Special Olympics and assisting Habitat for Humanity, as seen in other photos shared on Kelly’s story.

The Habitat for Humanity organization and the Rams volunteers, including the rookie class, focused their efforts in the Lahaina region, which was devastated by wildfires in 2023. The players helped with framing, painting, and more.
With their work in Maui complete, Stafford and the Rams return to Southern California, recharged and united as they gear up for training camp on July 22.
